Riotouch OPS-I7 14650HX (OPS-C): The 16-Core Windows Engine for Interactive Panels

Riotouch OPS-I7 14650HX OPS-C Windows OPS module

When a school, a boardroom or a control room needs a real Windows PC inside a flat panel, the answer is not a mini-PC taped to the wall — it is an OPS module that slides into the 80-pin slot of the display. Our new OPS-I7 14650HX (OPS-C) brings 14th-generation Intel HX-class performance into that standard slot, so your panel becomes a full Windows workstation without a single external box.

Performance: 16 Cores and 24 Threads Inside a Panel

The OPS-C runs an Intel® Core™ i7-14650HX — 16 cores, 24 threads, 2.2 GHz base and up to 5.2 GHz turbo on the Raptor Lake HX platform, paired with the Intel HM770 chipset. That is desktop-class multi-core throughput in a 195 × 180 × 42 mm module: enough for 4K video walls, multi-app teaching software, CAD viewers, AI-assisted whiteboards and simultaneous screen sharing, without the stutter that entry-level modules show once several applications run at once.

Display: HDMI, DP and Type-C — Synchronous 4K60 Output

The module drives HDMI 2.0 at 3840×2160 @60 Hz, a DP output at 3840×2160 @60 Hz, and an 80-pin socket HDMI output at 3840×2160 @60 Hz. HDMI, DP and Type-C outputs work in synchronous dual-display mode, so a teacher can mirror the panel to a projector while the operator keeps a second screen for control software. 4K60 support on every output keeps text crisp on large 86", 98" and 110" panels.

Memory & Storage: Configuration Freedom

Two SO-DIMM DDR4 slots (2666/3200 MHz) accept up to 64 GB — useful when several browser tabs, video conferencing and interactive courseware all run at once. For storage the board carries two M.2 2280 slots supporting both NVMe and SATA protocols plus a 2.5" SATA bay, so you can separate the operating system from project data, or ship dual disks for imaging and recovery. Dual-boot (Windows and Linux or Android) is a common configuration for government tenders.

Connectivity & I/O: Built for Real Classrooms and Meeting Rooms

Security & Fleet Management: TPM 2.0 and Enterprise BIOS

Commercial and government buyers ask about security first. The OPS-C supports TPM 2.0 and runs an AMI 256 Mbit UEFI BIOS with diskless boot, power-on boot and timed boot — exactly the features IT departments use to roll out hundreds of panels with a single image, wake them on schedule for morning classes, and keep the flash storage read-only in public areas.

Thermal Design and Environment: Made for 0–45 °C

Everything runs through automatic fan-speed adjustment, keeping noise low in classrooms while holding HX-class CPUs inside their thermal envelope. The module is rated for 0 °C to 45 °C operating temperature and 5%–95% relative humidity, non-condensing — a wider window than consumer mini-PCs, which matters in un-air-conditioned rooms, vehicles and coastal installations.

Which Configuration Should You Choose?

As a rule of thumb:

Because the OPS-C uses the standard 80-pin JAE interface, it also works as an upgrade path for panels already in the field: swap the old module, keep the panel and the wall mount.

Conclusion: A Panel Becomes a Workstation

The OPS-I7 14650HX turns a flat panel into a Windows PC that is patched, secured and serviced like any other fleet device — no dangling cables, no brackets, no second power supply. For distributors, integrators and tender projects that need a future-proof 14th-gen module, it is the engine worth specifying.
