A care-home touch table has to work for the people around it. That means residents who are seated, standing or using a wheelchair, as well as staff who need to set up activities quickly and move the equipment from room to room.
The TH43 and TH55 are 4K interactive tables built for activity rooms, memory-care settings and day centres. Their practical advantage is not just the screen. It is the combination of an electric lift, an open base, manual tilt and Android flexibility.
The first question is simple: can residents actually get close enough to use the table comfortably? A conventional table with a large floor plate can get in the way of a wheelchair. The TH Series uses an open column-style base, leaving more room for knees, footrests and a closer approach to the screen.
When reviewing a project, check the route to the room as well as the space around the table:
The TH Series adjusts electrically from 640 mm to 1290 mm. In practice, that gives staff a lower working position for seated users and a higher position for standing activities or demonstrations. No manual lifting is needed between sessions.
The best height still depends on the person, the wheelchair and the activity. For that reason, a sample check is worth doing before a larger order, particularly where one table will be shared by residents with different needs.
Residents do not all view a screen from the same angle. The TH Series has a tool-free manual tilt mechanism, so a member of staff can set the screen position without screws or service tools. It is a small detail, but it makes the table easier to use for tabletop games, music sessions, photo activities and staff-led demonstrations.
Both versions use a 4K touch display and Android 14 with the RK3576 platform. The practical difference is how many people need to see and reach the screen at the same time.
| Model | Screen | Resolution | Touch | Platform |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TH43 | 43 inches | 3840 × 2160 | Up to 10-point capacitive touch | Android 14 + RK3576 |
| TH55 | 55 inches | 3840 × 2160 | Up to 10-point capacitive touch | Android 14 + RK3576 |
Choose TH43 for tighter rooms, one-to-one work or small groups. Choose TH55 where the table will be the centre of a group activity and several residents need a clear view. The final choice should be based on room measurements, circulation space and the type of activity planned.
Care teams often have established content and applications for music, reminiscence, games, communication or video visiting. An open Android platform gives the buyer more freedom to evaluate and deploy those tools rather than being limited to a fixed activity library.
The TH Series is available with 4 GB or 8 GB RAM and 32 GB or 128 GB storage, depending on the chosen configuration. Before ordering, confirm application licences, local requirements, account access and any Google-service requirement. "Open Android" does not mean every third-party app is free or automatically compatible.
For group games, quizzes, music and singalongs, the table gives staff a shared focal point without rearranging the whole room. It can be moved into place, adjusted for the group and locked before the session starts.
Familiar songs, photographs and places can be used as part of structured, person-centred activity sessions. The screen provides a flexible way to present that material, while the content and care approach remain the responsibility of the care team.
Because the table is mobile, it can be shared between different rooms during the day. It may also be used for family video calls where the selected configuration includes the required camera, microphone and communication software. Confirm these options for the exact model before placing an order.
Care settings need equipment that is straightforward to look after. The product information lists Mohs 7 anti-glare glass and a panel life of up to 50,000 hours. A simple internal checklist should cover approved cleaning materials, safe power-down, caster locking, lift and tilt operation, and how to report faults.
The published warranty information lists one year for the complete table and three years for touch components. Available spare parts may include the lift motor, control box, switch and casters. Confirm local warranty coverage, delivery terms and spare-part arrangements in the quotation.
For distributors and project suppliers, the table can be specified with customer branding, pre-loaded apps, white-label software, alternative memory and storage options, and customised packaging. Start with the user group, room layout, content list, destination market and service plan. That makes the sample stage much more useful and helps avoid surprises after delivery.
